Quick answers to common questions. If you don't see your issue here, email contact@d4enterprises.com and I'll help directly.
Plan a trip. Tap the + button on the trips screen to name a new trip. Open it and tap "Add stop" to search for a location or drop a pin on a map. Reorder stops by long-pressing a row in edit mode. Swipe left to delete a stop, swipe right to edit its name, address, or icon.
Start driving. Tap the Start trip button at the bottom. The app shows live distance and ETA to every remaining stop, and per-leg breakdowns including current traffic delays.
Mark stops as you go. Swipe left on a stop to mark it arrived. Swipe right to skip it. The list updates automatically.
This is almost always a location-permission or GPS issue:
The app guesses an icon based on the stop's name. If the name doesn't include a recognizable brand or category, you'll see a generic pin. Swipe right on the stop in the trip detail view to pick an icon manually (Food, Fuel, Coffee, Hotel, etc.).
Make sure CarPlay is connected before starting the trip. If you started the trip first, tap End and start it again with the car connected. If your car shows other apps but not TripCheckPoints, check Settings → General → CarPlay → your car → enable TripCheckPoints in the available apps list.
If you ended a trip, "arrived" and "skipped" markers reset so the trip can be reused next time. Your stops themselves are preserved. If your trip itself disappeared, get in touch — that should never happen, and I want to know about it.
The recipient needs TripCheckPoints installed. The link will fall back to a web page with an "Open in TripCheckPoints" button if the app isn't there. Once they install it, tapping the link should open the app and show an import preview.
TripCheckPoints stores all your data locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server. Read the full privacy policy for details.
