BendCalc

A press-brake bending calculator for the shop floor. Built for fabricators, sheet-metal workers, and anyone who ever had to do K-factor math on the back of a torn cardboard box. Designed to be fast to use with greasy fingers.

What it does

• Flat-pattern calculation. Enter material, thickness, bend angle, and inside radius — get the developed length you actually need to cut.
• K-factor & reverse K. Calculate K-factor from a known sample, or solve for it given measured before/after dimensions.
• V-die selection. Pick the right V-die opening for your material and thickness.
• Tonnage estimator. Quick check on whether your brake can handle the bend before you set up the part.
• Material library. Built-in defaults for common steels, aluminum, stainless. Save your own shop's dies in a custom list.
• Inch & metric. Switch units anywhere; everything converts.
